The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus weather station. The data is collected every 2.5 seconds and the site is updated every 4 seconds. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge, thermo-hydro, UV and a Solar sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.
Loosduinen is a suburb of The Hague and a former gardener village. Loosduinen has been annexed by the city The Hague. The old core is still recognizable. Loosduinen covers an area of 13 sq km, over 22,500 houses and over 47,500 inhabitants (2003). (Source wikipedia.nl)
